Beginner/Intermediate 1
This 90-minute seminar focuses on the basics of tennis footwork, including how and when to split step, moving your body into position to strike the ball, and basic recovery steps while on court. The beginner/intermediate 1 seminar is designed for adults who are new to tennis or who play very recreationally during the summer. Coach P will also put on her physio hat and take you through drills and exercises to reduce your risk of ankle and foot injuries while on court. Expect to break a good sweat, and bring your fancy footwork shoes!

Intermediate 2/Advanced
This 90-minute seminar focuses on improving the speed and efficiency of your footwork to get you into the best position possible for the next shot. This includes learning how to cut off angles, footwork when serving and returning serves, and positioning based on your opponent's position. The intermediate 2/advanced seminar is designed for adults who play throughout the year and those with interest to compete in singles or doubles.Coach P will also put on her physio hat and take you through drills and exercises to reduce your risk of ankle and foot injuries while on court.

This 90-minute seminar is designed to teach beginner to intermediate-level tennis players the importance of shoulder health, how to reduce your risk of shoulder injuries and refine your overhead technique to all you to play the sport with minimal to no shoulder pain all summer long. Coach P will share her expertise with the technical and anatomical requirements for the sport of tennis to keep you healthy on court!

This 90 minute seminar is designed to enhance the intermediate to advanced level tennis player's experience on court by learning the importance of shoulder health and core development to mitigate shoulder injuries, but also improve power output. Coach P will use her expertise in tennis and physiotherapy take you through drills and exercises to develop shoulder stability through acceleration, as well as teach you how to use your core to create stronger, more consistent strokes.

This 90-minute seminar is for intermediate to advanced players who are ready to be faster and more explosive on court. Coach P will execute drills and exercises to develop the strength and power output of your lower extremities so you can change directions more efficently, jump higher, and get to the ball faster.

RAIN POLICY
In the event of rain, we will send out an email notification 1 hour before the scheduled start time to inform you of any cancellations.
Please note that the lesson is officially canceled only when the club sends out an email! Otherwise, all lessons are still a go.
Adult Clinics
Any adult clinics will have the same rainy policy as the after-school programs except for one-time classes.
For any one-time classes such as cardio, live ball, or tennis seminars, you will receive credit on Court Reserve for the missed session. You will be able to use this credit to book another session.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our rainy-day policy. We aim to provide the best possible experience for our members while ensuring their safety and comfort in inclement weather conditions.

Coach P is a former NCAA tennis player who competed for Lincoln Memorial University's Lady Railsplitters and has been coaching all levels of tennis for 10 years. Currently, Coach P is also a Registered Physiotherapist and CrossFit coach and competitor. Using her experiences in the sport of tennis, as well as her expertise of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, P's coaching style is all about helping you improve while keeping your body healthy. These seminars were created to showcase how keeping joints healthy, building stronger muscles, and adding accessory work to your routine will positively influence your game. Coach P will give you all the tools you need to continue such practices throughout your season to reduce your risk of injury and set you up for many, many years on the tennis court!
