MTC Tennis Academy is launching its new Progressive High-Performance training clinics for 2023. This program targets young athletes who are 7-11 years old and either aspire to or are already competitive players.
We provide an educational environment where they will further develop their passion for competition and acquire the necessary skills needed to PLAY the sport at a high level. Tennis is a ‘multi-skill’ sport that balances a young player's motor and cognitive aspects. For this reason, the sessions' format will target the game's physical, technical, tactical, and mental aspects.
We develop sound fundamentals to allow players to be successful in the future without any limitations. All this is done in a fun but serious way to ensure your players enjoy their training but are challenged in the process.
The student-to-coach ratio will be no higher than 4 to 1.
This program will help players transition into our Full academy program.
The spring session is 8 weeks starting on Friday, May 12th, from 4 pm to 6 pm and/or Sundays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Cost will be $480 plus HST.
There are only 8 spots per day, so this will fill up fast!
In the event of rain, we will send out an email notification 1 hour before the scheduled start time to inform you of any cancellations.
Please note that the lesson is officially canceled only when the club sends out an email! Otherwise, all lessons are still a go.
Summer Tennis Camps and High-Performance Clinics
No make-up classes will be offered for summer tennis camps or high-performance clinics since they will be held rain or shine.
In the event of rain, we will be providing tactical and mental training inside the clubhouse, with HP coaches leading the session. We will work with video footage, have group discussions, and do tactical and mental exercises. This provides a valuable and almost otherwise unattainable opportunity to learn the game from a different perspective. This is a very common practice in all leading academies all over the world.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our rainy-day policy. We aim to provide the best possible experience for our members while ensuring their safety and comfort in inclement weather conditions.
Please be aware that we will make every effort to reschedule missed classes*. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
