Dear Members of Markham Tennis Club,
We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to our club's calendar of events 2023. With Canadian tennis talent on the rise year over year Markham tennis club, the Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Canada have partnered for an Men’s and Women’s Open Prize Money Tournament, bringing some of the top Canadian tennis talent to MTC.
This tournament will offer an incredible opportunity for our members to come out each day and watch some of the next top tier tennis players play at your club. The draws will be made up of juniors, college players and seasoned players all trying to gain points to boost there Canadian Ranking.
To ensure that the tournament is organized smoothly, we have on site staff to help with finding you seats through out the day and answer any questions.
We encourage all members to come out and watch these great athletes play some amazing tennis. With numerous sponsors signed on to this event we are happy to announce Leonard Relator has stepped up and will be sponsoring morning breakfast for all spectators from 9am to 11am. This breakfast will include coffee, bagels, muffins, and fruit each morning.
Matches will be held on all 6 courts starting at 9am each morning and ending around 6pm. Please check Court Reserve each day to see when the last matches are of each day. Also follow Markham tennis club on Instagram to see the latest and greatest news on the tournament and sponsors leading up to the event.
