Get to know Bogdan and some of his interests and background before we start the summer.
Where are you from?: I am from Kyiv, Ukraine, and in Canada since 2010.
How long have you been playing?: I've been playing since I was 9 years old. My father wanted me to play hockey, but the rink was on reconstruction. Luckily for me, the tennis building across was open.
Favorite memory from tennis?: There are so many memories, but the best memory from childhood was training with Alexander Dolgopolov (former ATP #13) for one summer.
Favorite type of music?: I like all kinds of music depending on my mood. Anything ranging from jazz to hip-hop and everything in between.
Favorite ATP and WTA tennis players?: Currently, I support young players like Felix and Dennis, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and of course, Carlitos Alcaraz. On the women's side, I enjoy watching Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauf, Leyla Fernandez, and Bianca Andreescu.
